#besmartaboutart networking is a monthly opportunity to meet artists, curators & other peers, to view exhibitions and spaces, and to expand knowledge - creative and professional alike.
In May 2017, we're set to head to the South Bank, to Tate Modern. This is the first time that this monthly networking event that's been running since 2012 visits a public institution.
BSAA's very own Susan Mumford was intrigued by the display 'Media Networks' which looks at how artists have responded to mass media over the past 100 years. With technology making rapid developments in the present day, and notably having observed VR taking off in her latest visit to New York City for Frieze NYC Week, she'll facilitate a conversation to discuss how artists and curators are handling media in today's world.
Please keep an eye out for timetable details (where we're meeting, touring etc) in confirmation emails, as final details are being confirmed at present.
